Their patented "pinch design" prevents the flex shaft from coming loose from the base of the head plate. We've added an adjusting point under the iPod holder mounting plate that tilts 210°, turns 360° and rotates 360° to maximize iPod accessibility. Base can be mounted vertically or horizontally, shaft easily and securely screws into either configuration. Screw caps are included for a finished look.
