Fits Original iPod, iPod 3G, iPod 4G, iPod Photo and U2 iPod
The new Window Mount from PanaVise is perfect for secure, but temporary installations of both your iPod onto flat, smooth, non-porous surfaces (windows, windshields, etc.). Powerful suction pad attaches quickly, easily and securely. This is the only window mount known to endure a 35 mph crash test (Details available from PanaVise). These state-of-the-art window mounts emphasize both safety and convenience.
When we received our copy of this mount for the first time, we were impressed by several things. First of all, the construction is amazing. when you loosen the adjusting point that is under the mount (iPod holder) it is on a ball joint and rotates a full 360 degrees. That means wherever you put it, you can position the holder in the exact angle you require.
Secondly, when you hold this mount in your hand you can't but be impressed by the quality of construction and the materials used. These are just cheap Taiwanese knock-offs that will easily break. In fact, PanaVise feels so strongly about the quality of their workmanship, that if you ever have one break due to faulty workmanship, they'll replace it.
Finally, with the flood of imports coming into this country, it's wonderful to find such a high-quality product, at a competitive price, made right here in the US. PanaVise has been in business for over 40 years, and provides many high-quality jobs for the residents of the Reno-Sparks region of northern Nevada.
You may find this mount online at many stores, but we offer something we're pretty sure no one else does. When we put our mount together for the first time, we noted it took quite a bit of torque to screw the iPod holder to the mounting plate. So, as a service to our valued customers, we ship this mount fully assembled. All you have to do is flip the iPod holder to the exact angle you want, and put it in your car.
Note: All installations shown are for illustrative purposes only and do not imply endorsement. Never block the driver's vision. Check with your local authorities for laws and regulations determining proper placement of window mounts.
