Sterling Rope® Lanyard with Cord Lock

If you're a climber, you already know the reputation of Sterling Rope. They lead the climbing and rescue industries because they use the most advanced materials, including Kevlar®, Vectran®, Dyneema®, Spectra® and lots of other fancy names that end with ®. That's exactly why the makers of LiliPod partnered with them to produce the custom 42" silver and black braided pull ropes. Each is made with Dry CoreTM which resists moisture. Mildew beware.

Compression Clamp and Rubber O-Ring

Ok, we confess ... compression clamps and o-rings may sound kinda kinky ... but that doesn't mean you don't want them protecting your iPod. Because their function is as important as any other on your LiliPod ... they keep out all dirt, dust, water and other nasties that can spoil your outdoor fun. Oh ... did we fail to mention that if you're out having some water fun and for some reason your LiliPod gets loose it floats? How cool is that?

ISC Engineered Watertight Stereo Connector

The right stereo connector can make the difference between music, static and silence. So we didn't play around with it ... we went right to ISC Engineering. They know a lot about engineering stuff. 50 years worth, in fact. So they designed inside the LiliPod a 1/8" stereo connector that allows you to listen to your iPod while it's in a watertight protective case. Let's hear it for crystal clear music!

Dual Action Belt Clip

While we were deciding on our belt clip we introduced form to function. Really, it was more like a blind date ... but a good one. They met, had dinner, booked a room ... and the rest, as they say is history. They later gave birth to a dual-action belt clip with a kung fu grip. Just what does that mean? It means you can quick clip the base to a belt or pocket or feed an accessory belt for an even more secure attachment. No more dropping. No more cursing. No more crying.

2mm Plastic Hard Shell

Who really thinks about the difference between 1mm and 3mm. Nobody except for geeky engineers ... and who cares? That is ... until you accidentally drop your 40G iPod and scream as it rockets to the ground. Then the importance of the thickness rockets to your brain. Well rest assured, ye clumsy extreme sport fanatic, we've debated the thickness of our plastic casing well before your LiliPod hits the ground. 1mm was too thin, 3mm was too thick. Then we tried 2mm and it was ... you guessed it ... it was just right!

Foam Padding

Foam is one of those things hardly anyone thinks about, lest talks about. Well our foam insert is thick, and it holds your iPod extremely secure. If we actually start talking about its' amazing shock absorption abilities too long we may start to openly weep... No, we're ok. And your iPod will be too!
